THIRD PARTY FUNDRAISERS
Third-Party fundraisers are hosted by an individual, group or organization looking to raise funds on behalf of Hospice of Kona to support the programs and services we offer. These events are typically sponsored and supported by the event coordinator, organizing the fundraiser and must be reviewed and approved by the Hospice of Kona CEO and Hospice of Kona Board of Directors. Third-Party fundraising events are typically organized in memory or in honor of a person(s) on behalf of the services received through the programs of Hospice of Kona. This type of fundraising benefits the organization by expanding the donor base and increasing outreach through the networking of the Third-Party event organizer. The Hospice of Kona Foundation will work with the Third-Party organizer to supply the marketing materials and logistical needs to host a successful fundraising event. Ticket sales, fundraising, and donation solicitations are the responsibility of the Third-Party organizer and should not be reliant or impact the donor base of existing Hospice of Kona Foundation fundraising events. Third-Party fundraising may include the following examples: • Business/Employee Donation Driven Campaigns • Peer-to-Peer Campaigns • Event Benefits • Business Proceed Fundraising • Crowdfunding If you are interested in supporting our programs and would like to learn more about how your annual giving can support Hospice of Kona, please contact our Director of Events to learn how.
